A New Project

If you crochet you will understand.  I have WIPS I need to finish, projects I plan to make next, and things I need to make but just can't bring myself to make.

When all of the sudden you see something you have to bump to to top of your to do list.

Well that is what happened here.

I saw this lovely cardigan on THIS BLOG, she makes the most fabulous things.

Well I just had to make it.  So I dug out a few balls of super soft yarn, purchased a couple more to make sure I had enough for the whole thing, and got right to it.

So far so good.  Just about ready to add the arms.

Here is a tiny peek at the progress.

Can't wait to post the finished product pictures.  These are the such cute and perfect little wristlet clutches.  I love love love them.  

Back in Action

Hello!! 

I am still here and trying to get hooking again now that we are on a pretty good routine with the new babe.  Starting with a small batch of Halloween monsters.  My own little monster was more than happy to model.  See the thumbs up?  She thinks they are great.  Now bring on the cold weather!!

Almost done with this blanket for Baby#2

Just one more row of circles and a few rounds of borders and it's all ready for her arrival.

She seems to be taking her time and not quite as ready as we are.

Monday Fun

Scrappy circles #2  

I have not decided what to join my bright circles #1 in yet, so I started another scrappy circles blanket.  This is a different color palette for me.  I tend to use more grey and white to join and not really a lot of tan/browns.  But I think it is adorable!

I finished the Chevron blanket last Friday.  It so lovely!!!  Red Heart Soft it named well!!  It is so soft, I am 1,000% sure it will get lots of cuddle time in it's new home.  I was trying to get a good picture of it laying on my son's twin bed and he was just NOT going to let that happen.

I will have to try again later to get a full shot of it.

Now I am off to weave some ends in on the scrappy circles.
